Abstract

Farmer (NTP) of Bali in February 2017 recorded a decline of 0.44 percent, from 106.25 in January 2017, became 105.79. In terms of indices received by farmers (It), recorded an increase by 0.19 percent, from 131.16 in the previous month to 131.41. In terms of indices that paid farmers (Ib), recorded an increase of 0.63 percent, from 123.45 to 124.22.
In February 2017, NTP of five sub-sectors, three of them recorded a decrease, namely Horticulture (1.10 percent), Crop Plantations (0.59 percent) and Foodstuffs (0.39 percent). Meanwhile, Livestock and Fisheries sub-sector recorded increased respectively by 0.11 percent and 0.45 percent.
National NTP in February 2017 reached 100.33, decreasing by 0.58 percent to 100.91 in the previous month. This decrease is generally driven by the price index received by farmers (It) fell by 0.24 percent, while the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib) experienced a rise of 0.34 percent.
Based on the Consumer Price Index for Rural (IHKP) in February 2017, a rural area in Bali recorded an inflation of 0.74 percent against the previous month. This is in line with the national conditions of rural prices were also recorded an inflation of 0.38 percent.
Month of February 2017, of the 33 provinces that do rural inflation calculation, 13 provinces recorded an inflation and deflation recorded 10 provinces. The highest inflation was recorded in East Nusa Tenggara province, which is 1.09 percent and the lowest in the province of Jambi by 0.02 percent. Deepest deflation was recorded in Central Kalimantan province at 0.63 percent.
