Abstract

In August 2017 in Denpasar there was inflation of 0.26 percent with Price Index

Consumer (CPI) of 126.05. The calendar year inflation rate is 2.40 percent. Inflation rate year

to the year (YoY) of 3.46 percent.

 Inflation is due to price increases of some goods / services indicated by the rising index

in the education, recreation and sports group by 1.24 percent; transport groups, communications,

and financial services by 0.43 percent; health group by 0.28 percent; food groups

so, drinks, cigarettes, and tobacco by 0.22 percent; clothing group by 0.11 percent;

foodstuffs by 0.04 percent; as well as housing, water, electricity, gas and materials groups

burned by 0.02 percent.
