Abstract

In February 2018 the city of Denpasar recorded inflation of

0.65 percent with Consumer Price Index (CPI 2012 = 100)

of 129.21. The calendar year inflation rate stood at 1.60

percent and year-on-year inflation rate (YoY) was recorded at 3.10

percent.

 Inflation is indicated by rising indexes in six groups

expenditures, namely: foodstuffs by 1.75 percent;

groups of finished food, beverages, cigarettes, and tobacco of

0.77 percent; transport, communication and financial services groups

of 0.46 percent; housing, water, electricity, gas and

fuel by 0.39 percent; health group of 0.30

percent; as well as groups of education, recreation, and sports

0.03 percent. While the decreasing group

index / deflation is the clothing group by 0.60 percent.
