Abstract

The Bali Province NTP Index in April 2020 was down as deep as -2.36 percent, from 97.10 in March 2020 to 94.81. In terms of the index received by farmers (It) was recorded to fall as deep as -2.15 percent, while the index paid by farmers (Ib) was recorded as high as 0.21 percent.

The decline in the NTP index in April 2020 was recorded in all subsectors. The deepest decrease was recorded in the livestock subsector (-3.09 percent), followed by the smallholder estate crops subsector (-2.97 percent), the food crops subsector (-2.15 percent), the fisheries subsector (-1.45 percent) and the subsketor horticulture (-0.67 percent).

Bali Province's Agriculture Business Exchange Rate Index (NTUP) in April 2020 was 95.63, down as deep as -2.32 percent compared to the previous month which was 97.90.

In terms of its subsector, the deepest decline in the NTUP index was recorded in the livestock subsector (-3.20 percent), followed by the plantation estate subsector (-2.87 percent), the food crops subsector (-2.06 percent), the fisheries subsector (-1, 20 percent) and horticultural subsketors (-0.55 percent).

In April 2020, the province of Bali experienced rural inflation as high as 0.21 percent. This is in line with rural inflation nationally recorded experiencing inflation, as high as 0.11 percent. The highest inflation was recorded in North Sulawesi Province (1.19 percent) and the lowest in South Kalimantan Province (0.003 percent). Meanwhile, the deepest deflation was recorded in Nanggroe Aceh Darusalam Province (-0.60 percent), while the shallower deflation was recorded in North Sumatra and Central Kalimantan Provinces each of -0.01 percent [100-20200504]
