Abstract

The number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia in April 2020 decreased by 87.44 percent compared to the number of visits in April 2019. In addition, when compared to March 2020, the number of foreign tourists visiting April 2020 also decreased by 66.02 percent .

Cumulatively (January-April 2020), the number of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia reached 2.77 million visits, down 45.01 percent compared to the number of foreign tourists visiting the same period in 2019, which totaled 5.03 million visits.

Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of star classification hotels in Indonesia in April 2020 reached an average of 12.67 percent or down 41.23 points compared to the ROR of April 2019 which was recorded at 53.90 percent. In addition, if compared to the March 2020 TPK, the TPK of the star classification hotels in April 2020 also decreased by 19.57 points.

The average length of stay of foreign and Indonesian guests at star classification hotels during April 2020 was 1.93 days, an increase of 0.10 points compared to the situation in April 2019. [100-20200602]
