Abstract

In July 2020, the National General Trading Price Index (IHPB) fell by 0.08 percent against June 2020. The highest decline in IHPB occurred in the Agriculture Sector by 0.38 percent.

Some commodities that experienced price declines in July 2020 include coconuts, shallots, broilers, garlic, sugar, and broiler chicken meat.

Changes in PPI in calendar year 2020 were 0.68 percent and year-on-year changes in PPI were 0.81 percent.

Building Material / Construction IHPB in July 2020 decreased by 0.01 percent compared to the previous month, partly due to lower commodity prices for logs, rafters, asphalt, concrete, and steel roof truss. [100-20200803]
