Bali's economy as measured by Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) in the second quarter of 2020 was Rp 54.43 trillion (based on current prices / ADHB). Or if measured on the basis of constant prices (ADHK) in 2010, Bali's GRDP was recorded at Rp 35.86 trillion.
With this amount, the economy of Bali in the second quarter of 2020 recorded a negative growth (shrinking or contracted) -7.22 percent, when compared to the achievements of the first quarter of 2020 (q-to-q).
Meanwhile, when compared to the same quarter in the previous year (y-on-y), Bali's economy in the second quarter of 2020 recorded a deeper negative growth rate of -10.98 percent.
From the production side, the economic structure of Bali in the second quarter of 2020 was still dominated by Category I (Provision of Accommodation and Food and Beverage) with a contribution of 17.27 percent. While in terms of expenditure, the largest contribution to the Bali economy was occupied by the "household consumption expenditure" component with a contribution of 54.39 percent.
If accumulated with the first quarter growth, then during semester I-2020, Bali's economy recorded a negative growth (shrinking or contracting) -6.13 percent (c-to-c).
