Abstract

Entering the fifth month of the Covid-19 pandemic, developments in the number of international and domestic flights show a direction of improvement which is marked by an increase in the number of flights. The increase in both types of flights was followed by an increase in the number of passengers carried.

The data shows that the number of international flights departing from Bali in July 2020 was recorded at 38 flights, up 18.75 percent compared to June 2020 (m-t-m). The number of passengers was recorded at 2,047 people, which is also an increase of hundreds of percent (135.29 percent) month to month. International flights in July 2020 were dominated by Qatar with 14 flights, carrying 1,834 passengers, or 89.59 percent of the total passengers departing in July 2020.

There were 655 domestic flights in July 2020, an increase of 170.66 percent month to month. The number of departing passengers was recorded at 41,445 passengers, an increase of 263.46 percent (m-t-m). Jkt / Soekarno-Hatta is the destination for most of the domestic passengers, which is 19,739 passengers (47.63 percent).

The number of ship departures from Bali Province in July 2020 was recorded at 1,089 vessels, up 3.52 percent compared to June 2020 (m-t-m) which recorded 1,052 ships. [100-20200901]
