Abstract

Bali Province NTP Index in July 2020 rose as high as 0.42 percent, from 93.53 in June 2020 to 93.92. The index received by farmers (IT) was recorded to rise as high as 0.27 percent, while the index paid by farmers (Ib) was recorded down as deep as -0.15 percent.

The NTP index in July 2020 rose to three subsectors. The highest increase was recorded in the livestock subsector (2.24 percent), followed by the food crops subsector (0.83 percent), and the fisheries subsector (0.24 percent). On the other hand, the NTP index of the smallholder estate crops and horticulture sub-sector was down by -1.94 percent and -0.99 percent respectively.

Bali Province's Agriculture Business Exchange Rate Index (NTUP) in July 2020 recorded 93.77, up as high as 0.22 percent compared to the previous month which recorded 93.56.

Viewed from the subsector, the highest increase in the NTUP index was recorded in the livestock subsector (2.12 percent), followed by the food crops subsector (0.60 percent) and the fisheries subsector (0.01 percent). Meanwhile, the estate crops sub-sector and the horticulture sub-sector were recorded down by -2.19 percent and -1.17 percent respectively.

In July 2020, the Province of Bali was again experiencing deflation in rural areas, at -0.23 percent. This condition is in line with the national rural inflation record that recorded deflation, as deep as -0.13 percent. Of all provinces observing rural inflation, the deepest deflation was recorded in the Special Province of Yogyakarta with deflation of -0.95 percent. Meanwhile, the highest inflation was recorded in Southeast Sulawesi with a magnitude of 0.77 percent. [100-20200803]
